Round Rock Personal Injury Lawyer
Elissa’s interest in law started in 2001 shortly after her father was hit by a negligent driver. Elissa had to go to the hospital every day after school for months. Then, when her father was released from the hospital, she would go with him to physical therapy several times a week. From there, she would attend every appointment with her father’s attorney. Elissa learned first-hand how devastating an accident could be to a person’s physical and emotional well-being. Elissa observed for years on end as the case was finally brought to a settlement that did not make her father whole. It was during this time, that Elissa decided to dedicate her life to advocating for those in similar trying circumstances. Her personal experience with this devastation lends her a high level of empathy and understanding for her clients.
Elissa is no-nonsense attorney. While pursuing her undergraduate degree at New York University, Elissa served as a late-night prosecution intern in the Early Case Assessment Bureau of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. That experience further developed the grit, bravery, and tenacity needed in the legal world.
Shortly thereafter, Elissa moved to Austin, Texas, where she began working as a case manager in a downtown Austin law firm. After a couple years spent gaining transactional law experience, Elissa attended Baylor Law School where she participated in various immigration clinics serving the local community and served as an associate editor for the Baylor Law Review.
Elissa enjoys serving her community and is approaching her 10th year anniversary as a “Big” in Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Texas.
Elissa accepts cases involving pedestrian and motor vehicle collisions, probate matters, and family-based immigration cases.
Elissa has high expectations for her clients, as her clients should have for her. “Professionalism and leadership are the cornerstones of my business.” Elissa represents clients through some of the most difficult times of their lives. “My goal is to guide clients toward maintaining integrity and stability during a time that may seem like it will break them—financially, emotionally, and spiritually.”
Elissa is fluent in Spanish.
